Do your non alcoholic beers have alcohol?
Yes, but in very limited amounts. Per the FDA, non-alcoholic beer must contain less than 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV).
Is non alcoholic beer good for you?
Non alcoholic beer is a healthier alternative to alcoholic drinks, consumed within your daily recommended caloric intake. Whereas a significant portion of calorie count in alcoholic beer is from alcohol, non alcoholic beer contains less than 0.5% alcohol, and does not intoxicate, no matter how much you consume because of the body’s metabolic functions.
For reference, a ripe banana contains more ethanol/alcohol than a 12oz can of na beer. Non alcoholic beer is also not dehydrating like its alcoholic counterpart, and provides energy in the form of carbohydrates.

How is non alcoholic beer made?
The process of brewing non-alcoholic beer is quite similar to brewing alcoholic beer. They share the same four core ingredients: water, malt, hops, and yeast. We tailor our process to closely mirror conventional brewing techniques to produce our non-alcoholic IPA, Pils, and Witbier. To ensure the ABV is below 0.5%, we employ two general techniques: Limiting fermentation and removing the alcohol from a finished beer.
What does non alcoholic beer taste like?
Non-alcoholic beer tastes like… beer. Our goal is to get as close as we possibly can to your favorite alcoholic beers in flavor and aroma. You may notice some very subtle differences, though, as the presence (or absence, in our case) of alcohol/ethanol plays a role in how natural flavor compounds behave.
Can you drink non alcoholic beer when pregnant?
Yes, you can drink non alcoholic beer while pregnant.
Are any of Good Time Brewing beer’s gluten-free?
No. Our entire portfolio of beers contain gluten.
